Find your RSS feed

Every Beamer workspace has a public RSS feed. You just need the URL.

    Sign in to your Beamer account

    Open your Beamer dashboard at beamercontent.com and pick the workspace you want to migrate.

    Open the public changelog page

    Click the public preview link on the dashboard. Beamer's public pages have an RSS feed auto-discoverable at /feed (most browsers will surface an RSS icon).

    Copy the RSS URL

    The URL looks like https://app.getbeamer.com/feed/your-workspace.rss. View page source if your browser hides RSS auto-discovery.

    Paste it into Drumroll

    Sign in, head to /admin/<your-slug>/import, paste the RSS URL, preview the first 5 entries, hit import. Done in a minute, give or take image-rehosting time.

What you stop paying for

  • MAU-based pricing - Beamer charges by visitor; Drumroll doesn't count visitors at all.
  • Custom domain - free on Drumroll, $299/mo Scale tier on Beamer.
  • Watermark removal - Beamer brands every popover; Drumroll never does.
  • Multilingual content - same story across both, just not gated.
  • Per-seat fees - Drumroll doesn't have them.

Honest caveats

  • Beamer's in-app notification popover doesn't carry over - Drumroll is deliberately popover-free (we think popovers are interruption bloat).
  • NPS surveys and feedback boards are separate Beamer products; if you used them, you'll need to find a replacement (or use Drumroll's lightweight feedback widget).
  • Subscriber lists don't transfer - subscribers re-subscribe via Drumroll's RSS or email widget.
  • Beamer's segmentation rules don't carry over - Drumroll publishes to everyone.
